I remember my first support meeting and meeting you, you certainly impressed me and still do I'm a little late with this response but spent the weekend in Val's country Maine... Congratulations on you 4th year aniversary. I have seen a few of your post over the last 3 years and always enjoyed them. I will be 4 years in nov. and your right I am beginning to feel like a normal person. Joann!!! CONGRATS! Long Time No SEE!!!! Our surgery dates are just a day apart! I had my Open RNY on 08/07/2002...........and live is grand. Glad to hear all is well with you! Keep up the brilliant work! Remember... this is our lifestyle now! I rarely even mention to folks I had surgery because heck, that seemed like ages ago and even though it is a part of ME...it doesn't define who I have become...but without the surgery, heck, I wouldn't be here!
