Okay, it pulled up with the copy and paste. I just went ahead and ordered the book off of half.com. I need all the help I can get right now. Thanks for posting.

Before my WLS, in preparation for surgery, I had spent a lot of time ignoring food, eating 3 meals per day only, resisting this urge to always have something in there. Then after surgery, there was the struggle to get in the daily quota of protein and I got into a pattern of scheduled eating. I was putting food in there every couple of hours. As I got further out, I stuck with that pattern and now I find that I have the habit again of always expecting something to be put in my mouth. I tell myself that I'm eating healthy things that are high in protein. I'm taking in more calories than I need as my scale hasn't moved since November. I'm trying to get back to the 3 meals per day only and finding it difficult. thanks for the article. It took a bit of work to get to it, but once I got there it was good. Sue O.

Like someone said above, after surgery I got into "scheduled" eating. Now I'm trying to break that habit to eat only when my body really needs food. And it's tough! I still do a minimum of 2 30gram Unjury whey protein shakes a day to make sure that my body gets the high quality/more absorbable protein that it needs. Plus all the vitamins! Deb
