I'm 4 years PO and recently been trying to get back on track. I had started to drink with my meals and as a result of now not drinking with my meals I occasionally overdo it. I am sometimes surprised by how little I can eat. Today a had that one bite to many and threw up. For 4 years whenever I throw up, which has not been often, it's food and siliva. Today I threw up yellowish bile or stomach acid with my food. I'm kind of freaked out. I thought we didn't have stomach acid anymore. Had an open rny proximal with my gallbladder removed. Has this happened to anyone else?

Stomach acid is still produced by the remnant stomach but meets up with the food further down the intestines. Bile is produced by the gallbladder I think. Perhaps yours backed up into the pouch?
