Hey Melody, (long msg warning! LOL) I will probably get a lashing from people, but this was my experience and here is what I did: I had polysystic ovaries and had a period every year and a half...so getting a normal cycle at 35 was all new to me...along with PMS'ing. Well, I am one of the people that never had a sgr problem...so I was able to eat a candy bar when PMS'ing...then the next month it was two...then 3. I realized I was headed for BIG trouble...so knowing that the fake sgr products taste so great BUT make me go to the bathroom and get cramps...I overdosed myself on it so that I would get sick. And I did! Kind of taught myself a lesson. I was "bathroom running" sick for 2 days which was long enough for me to have to rely on light food again and not even WANT the sgr products. That 2 days gave me a HUGE break that I needed. I can now go back to having 2-3 sgr free choc bites when pms'ing...but I TRY to stay away from the real thing. Would be easier if I got sick on it, like I do on 1 donut! I won't touch those...and I LOVE them! As for your protein...and eating too much egg. My suggestion would be to get some cottage cheese. The low fat is actually better for us then the fat-free. My kids and I eat it all the time. You can add some fresh fruit to it too for different tastes...and it satisifies that sgr craving (from the fruit.) Also when I am sgr craving, I eat a banana with peanutbutter on it. I eat a banana EVERY day! I ended up getting too skinny and the dr wanted to see me regain to a certain point and maintain that weight for 3 months before they would give me my plastic surgery referral. I did...but to do so I had to double my intake of EVERYTHING...I felt CRAPPY! As soon as I got that letter in my hot little hands, I totally reverted back to my eating pattern and lost 10 pounds in 4.5 days (11 pounds by the 5th day.) I am back to 7 pounds from being the goal weight I wanted to be and with the plastic surgery, that will put me at about 125 pounds...at 5-7. (My size 4 pants are getting comfortably looser, so that will put me most likely in a comfortable size 2.) Not to bad, starting in a 22/24 1 year ago!!! Hope some of this helps...and sorry for the rambling!!! Good luck!! Laurie
