I have been on the plateau busters plan for 10 days. The first 5 days I had lost 6 lbs and was really pleased but I got on the scale today at the end on my 10 days and lost nothing this week. I know 6 lbs is still 6 lbs but I was really expecting a few more pounds after losing 6 the first 5 days. I'm 4 years P/O. Started at 333lbs and in about a year got down to 167lbs. I kind of fluctuated between 167 and 175 for about another year. Two years ago we moved from Connecticut to Florida and I started slacking on the food and excercise. I gained back up to 225lbs. I started to seek support and found this site. I started to read my aftercare instructions from my surgeon and realized that I had been back to drinking with my meals. Ten days ago I dumped all my junk food and trigger foods out of the house and started on the Plateau busters. If I had waited the full 10 days to get on the scale and saw 6 lbs I would have been happy but not loosing anything the second 5 days stinks. Well anyway I promised myself no mater how slow I would keep it up. Today I get to have fruits and veggies. I also dusted off my bike and have been riding every day for the past 4 days and on Monday will be going back to the gym. Thank you all for inspiring me to start again.

Amanda, congratulations on the 6 pounds. Many of us can't even shed one or two a week, let alone 3 in one week, which is your average there. Many oldies have gone back to Weigh****chers which usually, on a good day, lets you lose 1-2 pounds a week. You are on the right track. Be happy that you got such a good start and keep up the good work. Remember, weight loss doesn't show up when you want it, which is why we see losses when we are bad and gains when we are good. It will come off if you persist. Hugs and good luck to you. Missy

Hi Amanda! It sounds like you're back on the right track to me! I know how disappointing it is to see no weightloss when you're expecting it, but 6lbs is fantastic! Congrats to you!!!!!! Tracy B 328/152 5'9"
