Hi all I've finally came out of hiding, I haven't been on board for some time as I'm having the same problem. I'm embarrassed that I fell off the wagon. Like many of you have said we get ****y about our weight loss. I have gained 7 lbs & it has me running scared. The carbs are my biggest enemy that I know. Toast & coffee are my biggest downfall. Going to get a South Beach book & really read it. This sounds like the way to go. I'm happy we can come to this message board without getting burned! Carolyn

Hey Jenny, When feeling like loosing focus or that you no longer have that desire to regain the lifestyle that we need too...I put on a pair of pre-op jeans...and look at a picture daily of what I was like pre-op. That is enough to make me remember how miserable I was and how I don't ever want to live like that again. The simplest thing I found for the carb issue is that if I don't buy them, they are not in my house and I can't eat them. Good luck!!! Laurie

Charlie - Congrats on your 4 lb loss! I have been eating a lot of eggs - most days for breakfast, and sometimes a hard-boiled egg for snack in an attempt to get back on track, but now my cholesterol has risen to 215 - it was 156 last summer. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have a suggestion or comment? Betsy
