Hi Becky Sue, What I'm hearing is that every year it gets tougher,(by reading the posts). I am 5 years out and have gained back 25 pounds. For 3 years I did not regain anything, the last 2 the weight has slipped back on. I am trying to get back on track...walking more, drinking more water, eating more protein......BUT I have a mental problem with the word "diet". If I tell myself that I'm on a diet, I go crazy! I just have to modify my everyday lifestyle. If I don't loose the extra 25 pounds...maybe, just maybe, I won't gain 25 more with the modification. I am 60 yrs old, happy with myself and HATE the word "diet." my goal was 170 and I reached it. Now my goal is to try to stay close to where I am now. Hang in there, stay alert, and always ask for help when needed. Be Blessed, Marilyn

Boy, are you in my brain? I'm also having low blood sugar issues and seems like I end up grazing to combat it. If I don't eat something every 2 1/2 - 3 hours, the shaking, dizziness, flushing begins. I have an appt with my WLS doc on Tuesday and we are going to talk about this and the best way to combat it without gaining more than I already have - 4-6 pounds. I WILL NOT GAIN ANYMORE!!!!!!! I like buying size 8-10 clothes.

Hi Becky... I feel like you! I have been getting low blood sugar, very weak feeling, dizzy and I have to lay down...It's AWFUL! I too, to avoid this, have been eating every 2-3 hours and I DON'T LIKE WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME! I am starting to gain weight, and I crave food constantly, and I'm afraid of the low blood sugar "spells" that I get. I have an appointment with my primary care physician and I'm going to tell her everything. I also get these TREMENDOUS hot flashes (never had them before AND I have this thing where my legs keep jumping! (Never had this before, either. So, I'm having some of the same problems as you. I'm just hoping that my doctor is going to cure everything. But I wanted you to know that you are definitely not alone. Sandy (2 years into post surgery)
