Fell from Grace
Well, I went out with my singles group last night to an Indian restaurant. I was doing great till they brought out the rice. It was lovely with the chicken. I hope I didn't blow it, I reamined mostly on the Plateau Busters, I was only really eating the lamb and chicken, and only three ounces. I am craving vegetables now, I am getting sick of only eating proteins. I am glad this is only a 10 day thing, or I would not make it! I don't know how anyone could keep up on that Atkins deal.
Happy Summer Solstice, everyone!

Pixie,
I have been eating 3 oz cottage cheese for breakfast, 3 oz of peanut butter and string cheese as snax throughout the day ( 3 ounces of string cheese=3 sticks). For luncj I have been eating those Weigh****chers frozen dinners, The Truth about Carbs variety and only eating the meat out of them and tossing the rest. Then for supper I usually cook 3 oz of something like chicken or steak. I have today and tomorrow and that's it. So far I've lost 5 pounds.
From then on out I am going to stick to a low-card regime, like South Beach, not radical like the Plateau Busters. I couldn't do this for any longer than I am doing it. It's just a kick start. Right now I feel like I could run over a basket of puppies to get to a plate of asparagus!!

DB---Just thought I'd jump in here with the information that 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) of peanut butter is about 600 calories!!! A lot of the plateau busters plans leave out peanut butter for that reason. It's got protein, but also has lots of fat.
Not trying to bust your bubble, but there are lots better choices if you are trying to lose weight.
Hugs,
Connie
I know. Any enjoyment I might have gotten out of eating, I can kiss goodbye unless I am okay in being fat. The peanut butter was the only thing I looked forward to having. It doesn't seem to have hurt me thus far on plateau busters, but I won't keep that up. I don't eat a lot of nuts because of the calories.
I think it would be easier to not eat at all.
