Hi all. I am almost 4 years out. Just spending my time trying to maintain.
I found this forum tonight and am delighted. This is what I need to stay focused. The main message board is great but not a lot of us trying to maintain , or many questions on life after the honeymoon. I am so glad I found you. Thanks in advance and hugs to all..........

It's great to have you here! I skimmed thru your profile. You've done outstanding! It sounds like you have the typical struggles with maintainance that almost all of us grads have, but you've really done a great job at staying in a very narrow weight range, so to you! I love this grads board, where I can relate to almost everything posted.
I see at the end of your profile that you have 2 maltese dogs. We had a maltese for 12 years--that little fur-baby was like one of my kids (died back in 2000--still makes me sad).

Thanks so much. I checked out your profile too and you are doing great maintaining. one thing you are doing that I wish I was much better at is, Exercise, I am afraid I am very bad at doing any real exercise at all, unless you count walking the malls. I count it but my husband doesnt. he says I really need to find another place to walk. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact, I moved him into the closest in our computer room because my clothes had expanded, not in size mind you but in volume. OH WELL, the price he has to pay to have a thinner wife.
I am so sorry to hear about your fur-baby, I know mine are a love. maybe someday you can get a new baby. I don't think I could be without one.

Nice to have you hear. Looks like our anniversary dates are real close. I had my rny on 11/1/02....I lost about 137 pounds. I just had a TT, lateral hernia repair and BL 4 weeks ago, so I am still recouping from that. I love this web site and these message boards. It lets us meet each other and see how we are not alone in our journey and the experiences we are going through

hi and welcome to the group,
i am new here myself and i am making a genuine effort to lose this last 20 + lbs, i have maintained for a while at 138/143 i go back and forth but i am 5' 2.5"tall and my goal is 119/128 so that is where i am concetrating my efforts right now i like to take martial arts,but that is all the exercising i do, but i plan to start back at the gym in a week and i am learning to swim this summer! i totally am the same way with shopping it is a favorite past time of mine...lol
