Plateau Busters Day 1
Hi Dee. I'm not that far out, only 1 year but I had to cut back because I ate too much of the wrong foods on Sunday. I can only partially understand your situation. I did post on my forum board - June 2005 surgery date as a way to be accountable to someone else but me. I found that to be quite helpful especially when I was thinking about going off track.
I hope that you're well on your way! Sharing on the boards helps all of us during our WLS lifestyle. It's forever!
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Lucy

I don't know what made me think that this was going to be easy. I think I got it in my head that I could eat whatever I wanted because I was so restricted by volume, but that isn't the case.
If anything, I am motivated by the fact I have all these fabulous clothes in smaller sizes that are getting too small for me.

I am so glad you are posting. I was online last night and found out about the plateau buster plan, and I too am embarking on this journey. I have also been horrible with drinking with my meals, and I have vowed to handle this properly also, I used a link that someone had posted and printed this off so I know, without any excuses how I am supposed to handle this aspect.
I am 4 weeks post-op from TT, ventral hernia repair and BL, so I can't exercise as much as I want, but I can still walk and that is my main source of exercise right now. I know once I can step this up, it will help also.
Hang in there, we are all there with you!
