Plateau Busters Day 1
Well, today is my first day on Plateu buster's. I actually don't know if I am on a "Plateau" or am just getting fatter due to yucky eating habits. As of today I am 190.
I can't believe how many are in the same boat at the same time out from surgery. I'm glad I stopped by to see that I am far from unique in this matter. As I sit here and write this I am having a coffee and taking my vitamins. I will eat 3oz of cottage cheese for my breakfast. I've packed up a bunless 3oz hamburger for lunch, three string cheese sticks and some peanut butter for eats during the day. I sit at a computer all day long and it gets boring. So I nibble. Instead of doing that, I'll swig Crystal Light.
I also have my gym bag packed up, iPod loaded with snappy tunes and WILL go to the gym for 30 minutes of cardio.
I hope you all dont mind me reporting on myself, I need some understanding minds to share with on this. I really don't want to go back to where I started two years ago, that life really sucked.

Dee Please keep posting. It's refreshing to see the progress of others, especially since so many are struggling this far out.
Ahh to go back to the 'honeymoon stage' that would be perfect. But, now we have to work on it and what you mentioned is certinly going to work. Sometimes our bodies need a kick start again.
I hear you about sitting at your desk all day. I do to and feel the need to snack, just out of boredom. I've found other things to keep me occupied, satisfied. Good luck to you!!
Thanks. I am at work right now. I am stressing becuase I just checked my bank balance and it seems that when I was out last night with a group of people, the waiter put the entire bill on my card, despite the fact that everyone else paid cash and I had two drinks that I wanted to put on my card. So he collected the cash and charged my card for my two drink ( the bill I signed) and apparently ran the remainder on my card as well as collecting the cash. I am now overdrawn on that account.
I have to call the restaurant when they open at lunch and get this straightened out hopefully without too much bloodspill. I have a feeling the waiter pocketed the cash and ran the bill on my card.
Jumping to conclusions....

I am on the GOTTA LOSE 10 Too ... I have a great recipe for lowfat pimento cheese that is wonderful should you want it .. You can eat it with celery stick and it is very feeling and so so good ,,,,
Anyone want it , let me know as it is tried and true ...

Oh so far today , I had 3 pieces lower sodium bacon and about 1/4 cup of the pimento spread ... AM full as a tick
