New here.....4 year post op
Hi everyone,
i am new to this board just wanted to introduce myself i am 30 years old, at my highest i weighed 262.5 i am now ..well as of today 143 i am 4 years out from an open rny proximal and i am looking to start losing weight again i have not reached goal but have not gained either i bounce between 138-143 ,i gain 5 to 7 lbs right before my cycle then drop it afterwards i do find i can eat alot right before then i can`t once it is on,has anyone else experienced that?
well i guess that is all.

i will go pick it up today i read your page wow you have alot of info, i have been so out of touch with eating properly and vits i thought i should get back into it
my main vices as far as eating are my south beach diet choco chip and oatmeal cookies,kettle chips and baby carrots so i am looking to get back to basics not only to get myself back on track but to help somone i love dearly on their new start after rny.....

Welcome to the board.
Have you tried SoyCrisps by GenSoy? They have protein and aren't bad. You could replace your kettle chips with that and you could replace your oatmeal cookies with the sugarfree kind. I usually keep it down to 1/2 cookie. I always go for low carb, low fat and try to make sure I get as much protein as possible in any protein bar. Make sure the sugar content is down below 10 grams also. I'm not sure if baby carrots are bad, but you might try raw broccoli. That's a good carb.
