You need calcium citrate. The coral is not the best for us. Darlene

Be sure to get some B12 sublinguals (if you don't do shots) and a B50 (or B100) complex too.

My understanding on B12 is that we'll never absorb it through our stomachs due to missing instrinic factors so it is either sublingual or shots.

That's fine. The B12 goes under the tongue. The rest can get swallowed up.

Welcome to the board. Have you tried SoyCrisps by GenSoy? They have protein and aren't bad. You could replace your kettle chips with that and you could replace your oatmeal cookies with the sugarfree kind. I usually keep it down to 1/2 cookie. I always go for low carb, low fat and try to make sure I get as much protein as possible in any protein bar. Make sure the sugar content is down below 10 grams also. I'm not sure if baby carrots are bad, but you might try raw broccoli. That's a good carb. Linda
