I'm wearing a size 12 - OMG!
I am so happy for you. I have a passel of clothes for you because I've gained 24 lbs and am now on the other side of a size 14. I just can't go beyond that size, but it's hard keeping the eating down. I eat protein drinks, bars (2xday) and that coupled with no exercise, is probably the problem. I keep telling myself not to order more, but I don't want to get into the sugar stuff and I don't like the fake stuff, so.....
Good luck to you. Keep sane and keep posted. There are a lot of great people here who have been through it AND BACK!
Marilyn
Hi Marilyn. I read so much about post-ops gaining weight, it scares the ___ out of me. I can see how it happens. I need to keep this in mind at all times. I know that maintenance will be the hardest thing to do. I've never made a weight goal in my life either.
I try to stay away from the protein bars - I have them on rare occasions. I look at the nutrition label and see how many calories they have. I'd rather eat real food then the bars. Exercise is key, I know that one. This week I've been sleeping a lot, I think my body is exhausted with all the changes. I am going to exercise today when I get home.
Yes, there are a lot of great people here and they know first hand what we are going through. Thank you for your reply. Hope you get where you want to be. We are in this lifestyle forever and together!
Hugs,
Lucy
