I am over 24 months out and at my lowest I got down to 172. I am now back up to 188 and very concerned that I am going to end up where I started (292). I tried cutting back and taking in 100-1200 calories per day, I stayed the same, I tried following Weigh****chers and stayed religiously within my point limits and even went to the gym all last week and I actually gained another pound. I just don't know what to do? Has my metabolism etc changed so much that I am now at a set point and can't lose anymore? Is anyone else having trouble with this? I just don't know what to do. -=db=-

What about trying the Plateau Buster diet for a few days. Perhaps your body is just getting comfy with your current intake and if you change it up, it will restart your loss. You are wise to catch this now, before you have any further regain. The "tool" is yours for life.... just work-it !! I am struggling to lose my last 30-40 pounds and I use fitday.com to track my intake. I highly recommend it. It helps you to see where your calories and fats are coming from. Feel free to email me, if you need support. I keep a meal planner in MS Excel, that I could share with you. Many blessings, Karen G [email protected]

Hey Girl! Looking good! Ummmm...I think you might remember my story. I stopped losing 4 months out and haven't budged since. I did every damn thing imagiable and NOTHING worked. Seems my body decided this is where I'm going to be. Am I happy about it...oohhh helllllll no..lol I still have about 50 lbs to go, and nothing is taking it off. I'm thinking about having my metabolism checked as a last ditch effort, but I have my docs and nuts stumped. Good Luck, hope SOMETHING works for you!! ~Kari

I talked to the surgeon and he said that I am just about like everyone else now. If I graze I am going to gain and I need to watch what I eat like anyone ele, but what blows my mind is that even when I do, I still gain. It's like my body wants to be obese! -=db=-
