I am pre-freshman, probably around 6th grade. My dad said you find whose opinion matters to you and listen to that one. I think. So going on the main board, often, you can tell who the crazy ones are. I found this grad board right away and been lurkin ever since. The grads that do pop into the main, usually give advices that sounds, well, normal. I guess if you need drama fix the main is fine, I do it once and a while. But really there are not many lapbanders in main or grads (that talk) so I go to my (intended)surgery forum. But I am starving for long timers.( esp lapbanders over 3 yrs) I scour this site for profiles from long timers. They vanish because they have a life. So, you have more lurker-freshman here probably than you know.

Morning, Dx... Not exactly sure what kind of response you're looking for (it's not even 5am and my brain is still waking up) but just wanted to throw in my two cents... Not sure what exactly, I qualify as... Feel as if I'm farther ahead than "Sophmore" but not quite ready for the "Old Azz" qualification... I guess it depends on who you ask... I know that in general, I've worked very hard to remain supportive/neutral to most posts in my time here on OH although on occasion, I just couldn't resist poking someone in the eye if they were REALLY, REALLY out there... In general, if I see a lot of misinformation (in my opinion) being thrown out that really has not serious consequence, like "You can never have caffiene again" or "Are you nuts! You're not allowed to have more than XX carbs/fats/whatever" for the REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!" I tend to shrug and pass on it... If, however, I see someone posting that it's okay to do shots 2 weeks out, or that you don't need to take vitamins or something like that, that could seriously cause harm for someone, I typically step in and in as neutral as possible post, provide a dissenting point-of-view.... Sometimes it works for me, sometimes I have to clean out my Inbox.... As for the "My Babies Daddy" posts, well, what can I say, I don't stay up late enough to watch Jerry Springer and Maury is on before I get home from work, so, for me, they're entertaining....
