For those that weigh daily...
Hey Mic! I would like to see 149 too!!!!!!!!!! Don't know that it will ever happen, but it would be nice!!!! I know how much you're into your work outs so your muscle mass is probably pretty dense~that's great b/c your body naturally burns off more cal's during the day on its own~that's why I've stepped up my work out routine too!

Hi Tracy,
By the way, you're someone who always seemed successful in this journey, and have referred to your posts often for inspiration.
BTW I weigh daily. Not compulsively, but as a way to keep myself informed and to learn how my body reacts to my cycle, food intake, time of day, and such.
My scale fluctuations about 4 pounds. Still hard to tell how much is a result of my food intake and which is a result of time of day... as I am still losing but very, very slowly.
I know if I eat over XXX calories I will not lose and perhaps I will gain. Also I know to average my eating habits for a 48-72 hour period. Just because I ate xx yesterday and xxx today and xx tomorrow, doesn't mean I will gain. But eat xxx in a row and I'll gain!
Yes, weighing every day helps me stay on track, as well as not get paranoid.
I must confess that I am totally scale obsessed! I weigh myself many many times a day!!
I actually read an article recently saying that weighing daily really isn't all that bad. It tends to keep people focused and not allow a big weight change without noticing. And from the responses to this post it seems true. So many weigh everyday!
If I am up a pound or two or three I regroup right away and don't let it get carried away. I have always been like this, even when I was obese and on my many thousands of diets I weighed everday or sometimes every hour!!!!
I wish I could use daily weights for a guide but I retain so much fluid during any given day and my monthly cycle it becomes self defeating. I limit myself to weekly and only first thing in the morning or I get crazy. Maybe someday it will work for me but for now I go by inches and weekly weigh ins.
