calories?
Shelly ,
Right now at almost 2 years out ( May 27th ) I get in right around 900 to 1000 .
I struggle with this as I am very active .. and never hungry . Still ...
Each person is different . And each lifestyle is different . I know that Calories in - = calories burned to loose . SO when I have an off day .. I up the exersise ... and I do some activity daily ...
Hope this helps .

Shelly,
I eat b/w 1500-1700 cals on a typical day, and I aim for exercising 5-6 days a week (cardio or combo cardio/weight training) for 45-60 min. (On a really bad week, I might only get in 3-4 days of exercise.) If I get sloppy w/ eating more or exercising less and end up at the top of my 5-lb. acceptable weight range, I cut back to 1200-1400 cals and/or make sure I'm getting in more exercise and can get back on track.
I'm BLOWN AWAY by how few calories some post-op (grads) eat! I really feel comfortable eating the way I do, so for me, I know that exercise is the ONLY way I can get away w/ it. (Unfortunately, I can eat ANYTHING.)

Shelly, each of our bodies react differently. I am in maintenance and eat between 800-1200 calories a day, usually average about 1000. Over 1200 calories and I'll see the scale go up some so I then get back to 900-1000 calories. I've had someone tell me I can't gain on 1200 calories, well my body has said differently, lol, a day or two isn't significant but continually eating 1200 calories or more and I'm going to see the scale move upward.
