Well, it's been a long time. I am feeling the need for support more than ever. I am feeling lost and not sure what to do as I feel myself sliding where I don't want to be. I started at 332 got down to 143 had a baby post op only gained 22 pounds and lost it all 2wks after I had her. It seems now that it's been almost a yr since having her that my "extra" skin is sitting in different places than it was before. I'm much more "bottom" heavy. I also have seem to found about 15 pounds and i'm scared out of my mind!! How do I get the tool to kick back in? Do I just go back to the beginning?? Should I jump start with liquids for a few weeks? Any thoughts or suggestion would be great. Thanks, Cheryl 332/143/NOW 160...

Cheryl, HI! First of all BREATHE !!!! RELAX !!! Where do you begin? Simple! You assess where you ARE so YOU and YOU ALONE will know what to do! (As you've done for almost 3 years!!!) Eating per your own surgeon's after-care protocol? Frequent enough? Healthy enough? (over all - good mix prot/carbs/fruits/veggies/dairy/etc...) Grazing small bites thru day? Unconscious eating? Drinking WITH meals - making "soup" allowing you to eat more than you should? Etc... You know the drill - it's just so EASY to get sidetracked when you're caring for a new baby AND trying to focus on yourself A LITTLE - probably too little ! Cheryl, at 3 years post - you have SUCCESSFULLY controlled yourself! You WORKED THE TOOL! If not, you EASILY could have used the pregnancy to regain the weight! You are doing a GREAT JOB! Do you realize that most "normal weighted" people experience weight gain & loss throughout their lives? Maybe you're "normal"?... BREATHE... assess & do it! You can do it!

Well, I'm alot newer to all of this than you, but I think you've already done the hardest part~realizing that you want to nip this in the bud, so to speak, before it gets out of hand! You did great with your pregnancy~that's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm personally not a big fan of doing just liquids. Anytime I've ever done that I haven't kept the weight off. I perfer to just get back to basics w/ protein, water and exercise. Good Luck to You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tracy B 328/154 5'9"

CHeryl, I went to Weigh****chers, I didn't tell them my history, I could not eat as much as they wanted me to and after 5 months I have lost 15#. It took me alot longer than I expected, but I did it. It seemed to help that I went there for my husband really, he was depressed and could not loose so I went with him, he's lost 37 to my 15. It's amazing how you can stop the snacking when you are going to step on the scales in front of someone. Angie
