Wow!
So I had an experience that week that I took as a HUGE compliment. I'm very active at my son's school and PTA and almost everyone there knew me at 328lbs and knows me now (obviously, LOL), but I worked with this woman this week and I guess we had never really crossed paths in the past. Well, me being so open about having wls, she had heard me talk about being overweight or about wls several times and she finally looked at me and said "I just can't imagine that you were ever overweight!" I took this as such a compliment! She saw me as "normal"~not a perviously overweight person, a wls patient, formerly obese, etc~just normal, like someone in the crowd....wow, that felt good!

Isn't that wonderful. Congratulations!
How long has it been since your surgery?
I work with clients that I only see once a year and I had many comments on my weight loss this year. People really noticed. One client made several comments about my new haircut. I ran into him at a movie and he again made a comment about my hair cut. I did not have the heart to tell him I lost 100#'s. I just said thanks.
I have not lost anything for 4 months. I am getting very depressed about that. Any ideas?

Hi Pat. I'm 16mths post op. I know how frustrating it can be when weightloss slows or stops all togther. I find if I concentrate on all the right things~protein, water and exercise~that I can drop a few pounds quickly. I feel like I can eat SO much more now and sometimes I fall off track, but when that happens, I try to jump back on quickly! Good Luck to You!
