Poop question??
I had a fever last week that lasted about 36-48 hours, had the scoots also and was pretty sick to my stomach but never did any puking. I chalked it all up to a "Flu" that was intense but also short and sweet. I am sure I was dehydrated for a short time but have recovered nicely, the only thing thay has lasted is that I am pooping alot of undigested food and I am wondering if this is something I should be worried about. I am 19 months post-op and haven't seen food in the toilet (except the occaisonal kernal of corn) in a long time. I haven't made any drastic changes in my diet recently and I am pooping just fine, almost every day. What do you think? I hate to run to the Dr. just to have him order a bunch of tests and have it be nothing....
TIA
Hugs Wendy
Why don't you call and ask the nurse or Dr to get back to you about this? They may be able to advise you over the phone. Just tell them what you posted and that you would prefer not to come in unless it really sounds like you need to.
Hate to see you worry and maybe not need to be or worse have something to worry about and wait too long.

i am two years and a month post op and had the same issue..he ordered an upper gi with a small bowell follow through..the barium sat on my stomach for three days and i had to drink senna tea to get it out..but it's worth getting a test for...call your dr...sorry posting so late..mine comes out both ends and i up chuck undigested food that doesn't pass..when i'm constipated and if i'm not constipated i pass undigested food...so maybe your stomach isn't producing enough acid nutrients and other junk to digest it
