Topic: Last Day to Log in February!!
Last Thursday my car broke down and every day following has just sucked. Today is the first day I have worked out in almost a week And my food choices have sucked as well.... So this morning I was determined to reach my February goal of walking 30 miles... I had 2.31 miles to go so I got on my treadmill determined not to stop til I hit 2.31 miles.... well once I got there I was so close to 200 calories burned on my moniter that I decided to keep walking til I got that in. I managed to walk 2.45 miles so I exceeded my Feb. goal by .14 miles... not alot but I really feel like I accomplished something. I think part of my excuses for not working out the past few days was because I was so close to my goal... I KNOW.. NOT a good reason to make excuses. My goal for March is going to be 60 miles.... maybe if I make a goal that is almost unattainable I will push myself even harder and NOT skip days on my work-outs. So today I am back on track with my exercise AND my eating. I hope everyone reached their goals or at least got the motivation from this challenge that I did. You guys are great... I can't wait til tomorrow and I can start my March goals!!!!!!

Goal~40 miles so 2.5 to go............
That means that if I wanna make it to goal I have to walk on my day off, LOL, I never walk on Tuesday's but rest assured that I WILL be walking tomorrow to make my goal of 40 miles for February!! Awww, gotta love a good challenge to get you motivated!!!!!

Topic: Walked a 5k!!!
I accomplished a huge goal for myself...I participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K walk. I didn't go very fast, but I did finish which makes me feel really good. Doing something like that was soooo far out of my comfort zone.
I don't think I realized that I had 11.75 miles left to go by Tuesday. Take away 1 mile yesterday and the 3.1 today and it leaves me with 7.65 miles for the next 2 days.
I'm struggling with meeting my goal for walking because I'm playing so much racquetball. I'm not sure how to balance both of them. I usually don't have any energy left after playing to walk, but if I walk first, I don't have energy to compete. We'll see.
I am participating in my next 5K on April 1st.

OOOOOOPPPS, I've been forgetting to log on here.
Here's what I remember for this week.
Monday - no walking we went roller skating instead
Tuesday - 2 miles - OUCH, I have a black & blue knee from skating
Wednesday - 2 miles
Thursday - 2 miles
Friday - 3 miles, knee still hurts but I did it anyway.
