Topic: Still Mall Walking
Hi. Just reporting in that I am still mall walking. My walking partner and I meet at a local mall about twice a week and walk all the inner halls of the mall twice. It is just under 2 miles. We are going to start walking it three times after the first of the year. Anyone else out there mall walking? Peg angel:

Topic: Walking at the Mall
Hi everyone. I am really starting to like to walk! It's so much easier now that I have lost about 60 lbs. The rainy season is fast approaching, and I am such a fair weather walker. HOWEVER, I just discovered that a shopping mall near my home has a walking program! Isn't that great?? They open up the mall for walkers from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Mon. through Friday. I can even get a lifetime membership for $15 whi*****ludes a shirt and button. I think they even have blood pressure checks once a month and some other features. I'm going to go check it out! If you're like me and are also a fair weather walker, you might check to see if a mall near you also has this kind of program. Good luck, and let's keep walking! Peg

Topic: walking to the beat!!!
I am almost 5 months out and have been walking 2 miles almost everyday for the last 2 months, while the walks are great and the view is wonderful out here in the country I wanted to listen to music that had a good beat, after looking everywhere I finally broke down and bought a CD off the internet that is specially made for walking and has a steady beat. I thankfully got the one for beginners. its 108 beats per minute!! they had different types of music to chose from and I got the one for classical music. My walk was better today and I feel like I got more out of it, but of course I am exhausted! the walk takes about 1 hour if anyone wants to see what other types of music or exercise music they carrry the addy is (www)WorkoutMusicVideo.com Donna
