Today I walked at least 2 miles, if not 2 1/2 miles. Just in the last couple of days I can tell my back is not so stiff. Usually it takes at least a mile to get myself warmed up, and my back muscles ache so bad. Not today !!! Yeah for me. I am so excited to see everyone on board with the walking challenge. Topic: February Goal !
Hi everyone , Seven, posted her challenge to the NY board and I took her up on it , so here I am logging in my walking goal for the month of February ! I will walk 1 mile in 15 min. for 5 days of every week through the month of February. My total will = 20 miles . I just started the Medifast program a week ago to lose 10% of my weight before surgery which is 38 lbs. I figure this challenge will help me lose as well as keep me on track ! I will be on the Medifast for 8 weeks total. Not only will this challenge help with what I mentioned above but also it will help me to be healthier for surgery . Nice to meet all of you ! Count me in! I've been trying to get my exercise back on track - I have some issues with my knees so I'll go for time rather than distance. It's ambitious (for me) but I'm going to go for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, so 2.5 hours a week. February Goal: 10 hours (Gee it doesn't sound so hard when you write it out ) Seven - Thanks for getting us going! Kim
