Happy Valentines Day Everybody!!!! 2/14- 1.5 Miles on Elliptical Trainer - 3.65 Miles on bike Total for month 18 Miles Walked and 9.15 Miles Biked I have been trying to mix up my routine as well. Hence the addition of the bike and the Elliptical. My hips have been sore and I am blaming it on the treadmill. The Elliptical is much harder for me than the treadmill but does not pound my hips. I like the different walks you're doing. That's cool. I just do the same plain track... lap after lap after lap. Today I did 3 miles on the track. The first 2 miles I walked and carried my 3lbs hand weights. I was quite surprised at how much that worked my arms!!! After that I took a 2 minute break and then walked the last mile without the weights. Laurie

Today I walked 3.15 miles(not all at once but in 2 sessions but I am still counting that mileage ) That leaves me 12.63 more miles to walk for the month of February!! I am definately gonna have to up my goal for March to stay challenged. Your new routine sounds great to me. I don't think I could walk at a track cause I would either be too bored or want to dally along looking at nature instead of concentrating on sweating the pounds off. Well I hope everyone has a great day Anna

You do what you can do. 1.5 miles is a nice walk. I'm usually ready to quit long before then! Seven
