Has anyone used basic health?

I am no longer eligible for medicaid and looking into getting basic health has anyone has surgery approved through them? It excluded weight loss programs but does surgery count as surgery? Thanks for any help :-D

Hi I have Basic health and I was just turned down. They have approved it for other people. What is fair for one should be fair for all. Check on the insurers board and you will see. Check under, Community Health plan of Washington, Basic health and DSHS. hey cover it for DSHS and it is a state program, so is CHPW Basic Health,, Good luck, Charlotte

Did they turn you down because you didnt meet whatever the critieria is? or do they not cover it at all? I will be using molina with the basic health program

They say it is excluded. They have done it for other people, so why not us. The whole insurance thing sucks, Charlotte
