Any one in Bellingham, Wa?

I am new at this process. I am hoping to get lap-band on April 10th,2006 with Dr. Billing at Stevens Hosp in Edmonds. I am waiting to here about scheduled tests prior to surgery, GERD, sleep apnea and constant body pains. Can't find a psychiatrist in the area and my insurance company sure isn't helpful in that department. Contact me, I'm good support and could use the same.

Hi Mary! I live in Maple Falls, about 35 min east of Bham. I don't know if I can be of much help with the band stuff but I can definitely be supportive! Does your insurance company have a list of doctors that are covered under your plan? That's where I would start... Good luck! Lori

Hi Mary, I'm from Bham too. Try going to your insurance website. I'm under Great-West and they have a list of all the doctors covered under the plan listed by name or specialty. I'm Alaska Native so I got to use the house psych at the Lummi Clinic.
