Looking for great lap pool

I am pretty new to Seattle and I have not yet found my lap pool. Oh, I've found pools and been swimming but I like a pool with very pleasant surroundings. So far, the pools I've tried have what I consider bleak atmosphere: they are functional but they depress me. Can anyone reading this recommend a health club with a great pool? thanks for any suggestions.
