does anyone know the answer to this?

I am having my surgery at UW because that is what my insurance will pay for. I am completely comfortable with using the UW, no problem. But I'm wunnering. . . why don't the UW surgeons have profiles in obesityhelp.com?

I don't know, but I could not get any information on training or stats from their liason person either. Oeschleger is supposed to be the best LAP man UW has according to my regulara Dr and gastroenterologist. I decided on Dr. Hunter in Fed. Way with surg at Virginia Mason based on his credentials and training. Keep at them until you find out what you want. I could not find any UW bariatric surgeons listed in the Bariatric board certification or SAGES (gastroenterologists board certified) when I looked into it in June and July.

Could be they are too busy?Or have there info posted else where?.All I know is I had mine done january 20th 05 by DR Flum and have had no complaints what so ever.
