need help

my daughter is 15 years old, our insurance will not cover lap band surgery so we will be paying out of pocket. does any one know i surgeon for here and about how much will it cost$$$ thank you, annmarie(mom)

Hi Shawnette, Sometimes ages is a big factor on if a surgeon will perform surgery. There is a surgeon Dr. Watkins who does the band on younger patients. I'm not sure of his program costs, but I would suggest contacting his office directly for more information. amy, thank you. i checked him out and alot more surgeons and it looks like she needs to be 16-18 years old. but thank you iam going to keep looking anyways. annmarie
