Have a question about pain

I'm getting pain under my rt rib cage. Sometimes it's alittle than other times it takes my breath away and I can't even lay on it. My gallbadder is out and yes, Iwill be calling my doc. Just wandering if anyone else has had pain there after gallbadder surgery. I'm over 7 months out on my gallbadder surgery. Any advice anyone. Please feel free to reply.

I have had that pain before. Mine is my liver. Evidently I have spots as they put it, on my liver and sometimes if I get stressed out they hurt. Doesn't make sense to me but it does. It doesn't even make sense to the doc's. They do an ultrasound every year to see how much the spots have grown. That's all. Arlene

After I had my gallbladder out, I had terrible gas pain that would be around my rib cage or higher. I was told it was trapped gas. I don't know if it was as long as 7 months after but what I would do was massage the area, trying to make the pocket smaller and go away.
