I had my surgery back in November and am down 80 pounds!! Which I am very happy about!! The thing that has been bothering me is that I have been hovering at this point for at least a month if not more!! I feel like I need a little something to "jump start" my body again and I am not sure what.... I am sure that there is someone out there that has had this same problem and hopefully I can get some advice! Any thing would be helpful!!! Thank You!

I havent had the sugery yet, but a friend of mine that has and that had a platau (sp?) said that her dr. suggested going on liquids again twice a week and changing her exercise i.e. from walking to biking or whatever you like. It worked for her! Good luck!!

Hey Andrea, CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm one year out now and I've lost 148 pounds and am 2 pounds from goal. I went from a size 22-24 to a size loose 4 or solid 2. I'm still in shock! Whenever I stall like that, I go through the Plateau buster's checklist and diets. There is a link below. http://www.lowcarb.org/plateaus.html I also seem to drop about 5 pounds everytime I put the brakes on and eat only proteins for a day or so. That seems to shock the pouch into behaving. You have probably read pouchrules for dummies too but here's a quick link. I like to go there every now and then. http://www.nikkiinmd.com/pouch_rules.htm Best of Luck, Hannah
