Amazing!! Encouragement!!

Ok, Well i am 9 days post op and have had a birthday this week. I got the most amazing birthday present of my life this year. The reason i started this journey was to get off of the long list of medecation i had to take daily. That is my birthday present this year. NO MORE MEDS. I am only taking Synthroid now and my vitamins. Still checking BP and blood sugar levels to make sure all stays well in control but i really never thought i would see this day. My surgery is already a success in my eyes. I just wanted to post this as encouragement to others. Remember be careful what you wish for it might come true. Berta

Congratulations! I am scheduled for lap ryn on June 14 and it is so good to hear about your positive experience. I hope to get off the diabeties and blood pressure meds, too. I am doing the pre op diet right now and am getting really crabby, but I know its worth it. Again congrats on your success. Eva
