Question about Spirometry test...

I have a couple of questions. I only need to have the spirometry test done to complete my testing. Does anybody have any idea what kind of spirometry test is needed? My doc says they can do a basic test in the office. Or they can refer me to a more detailed test, i.e. treadmill. Also, did Harriet require the actual chest x-ray or can I just have them send the report? Thanks for any help you can give me. I have tried to contact Harriet but she is out of the office until Thurs. I want to get this done ASAP. Lori
