Medicaid?changes?policy??

I was wondering what kind of changes were made in the policy reguarding wls. I was denied by medicaid last year and would like to start the process again. If I get a glimmer of hope of approval I will do it all again. They denied me last year because they stated that none of my medical problems such as reflux, arthritis, back and knee problems, insulin resistance, etc., etc were proven to get better due to surgery. A complete load of B.S. I know that I quailfy under medical necessity. Has the exeption to rule policy been modified? I know it is easier. I am currently trying to get the exacts from my pcp having troble having them do that but U of W should know exacts as they take medicaide. I am trying to reach them all as well
