I've been home a day now and its going fairly well. One nagging problem has been excess stomach acid. I can't seem to shake it and it is uncomfortable. Anybody got any good ideas on getting rid of it?

CONGRATS to you Bill for making it to the losing side. I don't have any advice on the stomach acid but just wanted to say a few kind words. Take care Tee

Thanks, Terry. Things are better today. Stomach acid has subsided and I'm feeling a whole lot better. I am eager to get to the point where I can have more than liquids. I know what and how I eat is changed forever but I would like to have something. Weight is peeling away. I was down 20# when I left the hospital and even I can see the effect day by day now. I am so glad I gave this gift of life to my body. Bill

Ok, Bill, you are scaring me with this talk of excess acid. I thought that there was no way that stomach acid could get into the new pouch. Did you have reflux problems prior to the surgery? Congrats on your weight loss! Tammy
