I'm looking at around $20,000 - $25,000 self pay. (if I can secure financing) Dr. John Pennings, Bariatrics Northwest, Coeur d'Alene Idaho. WonderFul place. Be careful, don't comprimise saftey and life for cheap. Look at doctor's rep, case history and morbidity rate. GOOD LUCK.

Dr. Pennings has a very good reputation and is within your price range. He came and talked to our support group a few months back and I was very impressed with his tecnique, and PRICE.

I'm thinking about Mexico because my insurance (Uniform, for state of Washington employees) does not cover anything to do with obesity. I understand it's half-price -- including air fare and hotels. I'd much prefer to have it done locally... Plan B would be to find a single guy with great insurance who'd like to be married to a lovely woman (for a short time.)
