Question

Does anyone know of a surgeon that will accept medicare for the DS procedure in the state of Washington or do I have to go to Oregon..better yet will medicare even approve that procedure.Thanks

The only ones I'm aware of in WA do the RNY - maybe lapband. Sorry!

Hi Deborah, I was told the only proceedure that Medicare will pay for is the RNY. Dr. Jeffrey Hunter at Virgina Mason Federal Way accepts medicare. Kimaane's doctor also accepts Medicare but I don't know how to spell his name. Good luck, Tee
