Hi! I have yet another question for you (thanks for putting up w/my many questions over these months!) When you went to your post op appt. at Dr. Weber's was it basically just to remove those staples? I'm wondering if he'll be ok with me going to my PCP to have that done in Port Angeles (only 2 hrs away vs. almost 5) I figure questions/comments he or me have, can maybe done over the phone. I asked my PCP and she said she'd be fine w/removing them.

I don't know. It is worth asking. It was because I am from Tacoma that he was going to let us take some of the stapples out at home instead of making two trips. I think he really likes to see you face to face. Or face to belly as the case may be. But, with your travel time and PCP that actually cares about you, he might not mind. I would definately ask. OH to answer your question, at that first appointment, we chatted a bit, hugged a little bit and did the stapple thing.
