pricing help....

okay, my insurance doesn't cover the cost of the surgery and I don't even want to bother with the fight. Given that I'm willing to take a loan and (attempt) to finance this myself I'm hoping to get an idea of how much different docs in the area are charging. If you can tell me what type of surgery you had, who your doc was,where they are located, and what s/he charged I would really appreciate it. I have only found one place that will give me a rough estimate, everywhere else they want me to sit through all the information meetings and meet with the finance office... your help will save me a lot of time and energy, thanks...

I cosidered BeLighter.com. about 13000 for lapband...My BF In Hawaii checked out that facility for me and the cost of airfare isn't that bad.....The only thing is Lapband requires adjustsments from time to time and several trips to Hawaii is a bit much....Local doctors do adjustments ( a 10 min. process) for about 3-5 hundread a pop.
