First appt. 29th of Aug. 2004

Hi everyone, I made my first appt. with Dr. Lauter in Kirkland, he accepts Medicare. The only bummer at this point is Swedish hospital isn't taking Medicare for the surgery, because Medicare wont pre-approve the hospital. Dr Lauter receptionist said, they are looking for a hospital to work from that will accept Medicare. This doctor does the lap-gastric-bypass, I've heard some scary thing's about this procedure, is their any one out there that can tell me about this type of surgery? Hi all, please don't think I'm but after I read Marine response to another post, I changed doctor's. I don't have to worry about waiting for them to find a hospital that will take Medicare. This is a really cool place, I'm glad I found you all! I get to talk to the intake lady today. Tink-tee
