question for the post-ops!

i have a question about scarring... i know that it is going to be a big incision, but as you lost the weight, did the scar get smaller? i had a c-section when i had my daughter, and it felt like they had cut me ear lobe to ear lobe, but now the scar is only like 2, maybe 3 inches... is tis the case with the incision for the roux-en-y??

i had open RNY and last week at my visit the Dr made the comment how my scar was getting harder to find, I have used cocoa butter on it and I tan weekly don't know if that had anything to do with it. KAthy -103
