I was reading through the messages and I didn't see anyone that had the lap band done. Does anyone know if they would cover that? I'm scared to get the gastric by pass done.
I have GH, and as far as I know they do not cover lap band.
They have there own gastric bypass surgeons and I think it is the only wls surgery they will cover, of course you have to jump through there hoops first LOL ... They do it laproscopic though if that is any comfort to you.
I have GH and am just in the approval stage. I am pretty sure they do the lap band and the RNY... both laproscopic. I am still learning about both to determine which is better for me.
