I am being relocated to Seattle next month and will be joining the Regence Blue Shield Selections Plan and am looking for a new primary care physician. I am leaving California where I had been approved for WLS with Kaiser and was due to have my surgery this summer. I have had psych eval and Dietician 's apointments and an ultrasound that showed gall stones. I was going to have open RNY...Well I still am, I guess. I need to hook-up with a WLS-friendly physician in the Seattle area. We will probably be living in Renton, Kent or Covington. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Tedd 6'2", 365, BMI-46

Try Dr. Weber at Swedish Ballard in Seattle, he is who a bunch of us are going with, and he is a very caring doctor, instead of just being another statistic. Best of luck to you!

Renee, Thanks for your response. I am going to go with Dr. Weber. I have been busy selling my house and getting up here. I arrived last Saturday and we will be moving to Covington. Could you reccommend a Primary Care Doctor also. Is Dr. Weber also a GP? I thought he was a specialist. I am also going to call his office to get a referral for a GP, but I would like your opinion if you have one. I am working in downtown Seattle, so I can get to any location in the greater Seattle area. Many thaks,
