Appt. with Madigan Surgeon

I have an appointment on June 7 with Dr. Eggebroten who is on Dr. Carter's team. I got a list of 4 doctors doing the surgery at Madigan and here are their names: Dr. Carter, Dr. Watts, Dr. Eggebroten, and Dr. Rush. I am just praying to get picked sooner instead of later. I had an appt. for orient. with Dr. Weber, in Seattle, but canceled. Things seem to be moving a little fast and I hope to be able to move them even faster.

Good for you. Of course, don't move too fast or I will have to start kicking myself for going civilian.

I had Dr. Eggebroten. It can be along time until you have your surgery even after orientation. Some people wait 2 years or more. Try to get on the short notice list 24/48 hours notice if you want it sooner. Even then I waited a year. IT was worth it but I waited.I would check the civilian route if I were you. I know lots of tricare people who have had surgery outside. Check out the Bremerton wls support group on yahoo. Emma
