Medicaid insurance and on SSI

Has anyone successfully had WLS with this insurance? IF so, what type of surgery do they cover? I am desparate! I will be dead soon if I don't do something about my weight. I have no quality of life anymore. My back pain and foot pain are almost unbearable. Also high B/P and severe clinical depression. Thank you for any help, Kathy

They do. Someone asked about it recently. These are three that I found. You can either click on "Insurers" at the top of the page and look around or drag out the phone book and start calling people if no one here answers your question. I don't know the steps though. But, I suspect that like with all of the other insurances, you have to start with your PCP and ask for a referral. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
