As I told you I have my surgery on Monday. I am still a smoker and of course I know that I should have stopped. It is much easier said than done. I was wondering if any of you that have had the surgery were smokers and how you did in accordance to that? I know people who have smoked going into other surgeries so I know I am not the first or the last, but I just like to know if there are others out there who struggled with it. Hugs, Laura

with any surgery STOP NOW!!! it is easier said than done. My surgery is in July I havent stopped now, but heres an idea! when I got preg. I was smoking it took me 5 days to quit using the patch. you put it on one hour later in the morning and take it off one hour earlier at night. If they ask you if you smoke when they question you before hand please do not lie. They need to know the truth so they can care for you properly.
