Iam 2and a half weeks post op and have terrible heartburn. Have anyof you had this happen?? Pls let me kow what I can take if anything Thanks Shirley

I haven't but you are allowed to take tums. That might help.

Ask your Dr about Prevacid. That's what my surgeon gave me. It wasn't for heartburn after surgery, however I did take it for that before surgery. My surgeon has me taking it now to keep from getting ulcers....just a precaution. But, it works great on the heartburn too, Good luck!! ~~Carla
