can anyone give me an idea?????

I have been denied by my insurance but am determined to have the surgery. Can anyone who has had the RYN give me a rounded figure (no pun intended) of an approximate cost? I would be most apppreciative. (I had my consultation with Dr. S a few months ago when I had hopes of qualifying through my Group Health plan) thanks vicki

Hi Vicki, If you're going for the RNY you may want to check Dr. Simonowitz. A member at my support group was self pay and she indicated that her surgery only cost $13,000 all in. Wendi
