Has anyone appealed Tri-Care

Has anyone ever appealed Tri-Care then was approved later I would love to hear from you and hear how it worked out for you. Because I am going through it right know and I need help. Also is Tri- Care doing Lap RYN in your area. It has been stopped in my region.

I received my letter of denial with instructions to fax an appeal letter to the Doctor who made the decision. I immediately did so, and it was a letter full of emotion. I then faxed a more rational letter the next morning and got a phone call by 9:30 am. I had to 'prove' my weight to him, which I did by having my endocrinologist fax it to him on their letterhead and got an approval over the phone.
