Hi, This is what Premera Blue Cross, the version my husband's workplace, says: Hi, This is what Premera Blue Cross says: Page 30 - Heritage Plus 1 - Standard - 1000016 - January 1, 2003 Obesity Services Treatment of obesity or morbid obesity, including surgery, and any direct or indirect complications and aftereffects thereof; services and supplies connected with weight loss or weight control, except for health education and wellness classes or programs specified as covered under the "Health Education, Community Wellness and Smoking Cessation" benefit. This exclusion applies even if you also have an illness or injury that might be helped by weight loss. Doesn't sound very good to me. So I need to figure out which bariatric program has the shortest Medicare waiting list huh? Thanks. Lauren
